Getting Here
Mt Elizabeth Station is centrally located on the iconic Gibb River Road, making it an ideal place to STAY while exploring the Kimberley. Our turn-off is 30 km east of Mt Barnett Roadhouse and 141 km west of Ellenbrae Station.
The 30 km access road to the homestead is regularly maintained and suitable for all high-clearance vehicles, including caravans and camper trailers. As this is a working cattle station, station vehicles and livestock may be encountered—please drive to conditions. Diesel is available at the homestead.
Flying In
Fly-in guests are welcome at Mt Elizabeth Station. We have a well-maintained, unsealed airstrip approximately 1 km long, used by the weekly mail plane. Transport can be arranged from the airstrip to the homestead (2 km).
Avgas is available by prior arrangement. Please contact the station in advance to organise fuel.
Station Access
A station pass is required and available for purchase for guests at the homestead for $15 per vehicle. This once-off fee is valid for the duration of your stay and includes access to all gorges and walking trails on the property.
On Arrival
Please visit reception on arrival to check in and collect your complimentary station map to help you make the most of your STAY.
OUTCAMP ROOMS
Positioned just beyond the main homestead garden, the Outcamp Rooms offer a peaceful and private retreat after a day of exploration. Each air-conditioned room features a comfortable double bed, a modern en-suite bathroom and a shaded verandah ideal for unwinding at sunset.
Rooms are appointed with tea and coffee-making facilities and a bar fridge.
Every stay includes a station access pass for one vehicle.
CAMPGROUND
Unwind under the wide Kimberley skies in our spacious campground, offering non-powered sites surrounded by nature. Guests can enjoy communal fire pits and BBQs, clean amenities with hot showers, toilets, and washing machines, and access to beautiful, fresh water to fill your tanks. Whether you’re camping, caravanning, or travelling with a group, it’s the perfect spot to relax after exploring the gorges and station tracks.
HOMESTEAD ROOMS
Set within the homestead gardens, our Homestead Rooms offer a refined yet relaxed station stay. Each air-conditioned room is appointed with either a king bed, triple or twin-share configuration, with shared bathroom facilities. Rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.
Guests are invited to enjoy the peaceful garden surrounds, creating a welcoming space to relax and connect.
