WELCOME TO MT ELIZABETH STATION
Set in the heart of the Kimberley, Mt Elizabeth is a working cattle station on the iconic Gibb River Road.
Spanning half a million acres and home to over 6,000 head of cattle, MTE is run by the Burton family, Kimberley pastoralists for over 30 years and founders of Burton Beef.
We welcome travellers who want to experience the Kimberley as it really is.
At MTE there’s space to relax and take your time to experience the country. Swim in secluded gorges, wander through ancient landscapes, and take on unforgettable 4WD adventures across rugged country.
From May to September, mustering season brings the station to life with helicopters, bikes and bull catchers, offering visitors a firsthand glimpse into the rhythms of station life.
Stay in comfortable rooms at the homestead or camp beneath wide open skies in our spacious campground. Join us for hearty station meals, good company and stories shared around the fire.
